December always arrives differently.
Some years it feels loud, bright, rushed… but this one slipped in quietly, like a soft breath warming the corners of my home. I wanted a December that felt lived-in, not decorated; a December of deep greens, old golds, cranberry touches and the slow glow of candlelight. A cottage December, gentle and warm.

I built this space the way I imagine winter should feel, cozy without clutter, festive without noise, familiar without becoming predictable. A place where the light rests softly on the stone walls, where the tree glows with its own quiet rhythm, and where even the cats seem to understand that this month carries a different kind of calm.

This is my December this year: warm, quiet, and wrapped in small moments that make home feel like the safest place to slow down.
